Get Your Racquet On is launching during the 2020 Australian Summer of Tennis. It is an opportunity for adults to come and try, or to re-discover the joy of tennis with no commitments. We will be hosting “open court” sessions every Sunday evening over two months, which are a series of different activities aimed at discovering or re-discovering the joy of tennis.

Tennis Australia are running a National Deaf & Hard of Hearing Development Camp on 8-9th December in Melbourne.

This will be an opportunity for players from across the country to learn new skills, access great coaching, and meet new friends.

The Games run from the 20^th-27^th January and tennis will be in the (hopefully cool!) mornings from Monday 22^nd to Wednesday 24th (with Thursday 25^th in reserve in case of bad weather).

In mid-July the Australian Men’s Deaf Tennis team embarked on their trip to the 1^st World Deaf Tennis Championships in Nottingham, England, to take on the world’s best from twenty one countries. The Games Organising Committee of the XVII Australian Deaf Games, Adelaide 2016 is excited to announce we have decided to extend the early bird registration due date from 30 April 2015 to 30 June 2015!!

 
Until 30 June 2015, prices are $155 for adults, $130 for concession and $110 for youth (aged between 13-17). For families, the price is $420 for two adults and two youths and $265 for one adult and two youths. Children aged 12 and under are free.

There are two major events on the International Deaf Tennis Calendar for 2015, being the World Deaf Tennis Championships and the Asia Pacific Deaf Games.  If you're interested in competing please indicate your interest ASAP using the expression of interest form, available here.

The NSW Deaf Tennis Championships took place Sunday 23^rd October 2011 at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush.

This fun day of tennis was a great opportunity for everyone to get out onto Centre court, meet coach Scott Rawlins from Tennis QLD, and show their tennis talent!  To get the ball rolling Scott explained the different balls used for coaching, demonstrated some techniques and then had everyone playing some tennis games.  Deaflympians Jamie Zafir and Tom Pell were on hand to have a hit and provide inspiration, and it was great to see such an enthusiastic group of kids & adults.    Thanks also to...
