2012 NSW Champs - Nov 4th

This year our Championships event will be held at the fantastic Homebush Stadium venue.  Cost for the day is $25, including DTA membership and playing fees.  You need to complete the DTA membership online registration before you can register to play.

NSW: Social Deaf Tennis - Sept 9th

NSW social deaf tennis continues....

Date: Sunday 9th September
Where: 87 Abuklea Road, Marsfield NSW 2122
When: 12-2pm
Cost: $6 per person

Bring: Rackets, sunscreen and a smile!

We will be playing round-robin doubles in a social format so everyone can get to know each other.

Report: NSW Deaf Tennis Championships 2011

The NSW Deaf Tennis Championships took place Sunday 23rd October 2011 at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush.

Under clear blue skies, warm sun and temperatures in the high 20s, 6 men and 6 women battled long and hard for the right to be crowned NSW Deaf Tennis Champions.

ATP Champions Downunder

Some fantastic photos from the ATP Champsions Downunder event in Sydney last weekend.  Great to see some of our NSW members out there putting on a show for the crowd.  Well done to Josh for managing to wear an interesting device on his head!  And that was an impressive guard of honour to welcome Pat Rafter onto the court.  Congratulations to all involved.

NSW - Champions Downunder

From November 11-14, Sydney is hosting the Champions Downunder event (http://www.championsdownunder.com.au/).  This event brings some of the greatest names from tennis history, including McEnroe, Wilander, Ivanisevic, Rafter and Cash, to Sydney.  Deaf tennis has been invited to exhibit on centre court and provide some "between match" entertainment.  Any deaf tennis players interested in being involved is invited to contact us asap (email to info@deaftennisaustralia.org).
